FORT ERIE URGENT CARE CLINIC OPENS
FORT ERIE, Ontario, Canada, August 30, 2004 - At 9:30 am today, Mayor Wayne Redekop, along with Dr. Artaj Singh, Medical Director and President, of the new Fort Erie Urgent Care, cut the ribbon to open Urgent Care Niagara’s second Regional Extended Hours Clinic.
From this new clinic located at Garrison Square Plaza (660 Garrison Road), urgent medical care will be available for thousands of Fort Erie residents and visitors who do not currently have access to timely medical care.
Dr. Singh would like to recognize the efforts of the Fort Erie Town Council and Fort Erie Economic Development & Tourism Corporation (EDTC) for their vision and commitment to building a pro-active healthcare partnership for the residents of Fort Erie. Mr. Jim Thibert and Ms. Jennifer Patrick of the EDTC were instrumental in bringing all the stakeholders together for the benefit of the community.
Along with Dr. Artaj Singh, the Centre will be staffed by Dr. Judith Singh, Dr. Darrell Grant, Dr. Joginder Gill and Dr. Hugh Mitchell.
